Back home with family

Upon our arrival home we were greeted with a flock of Blue Jays in one of our trees. They must have been telling us that we needed to plant new trees after loosing all our trees in the hail storm last year. We also had a swarm of honey bees in a bush that survived the hail storm. We were not able to locate a bee keeper to harvest them, so the next day they were gone. Tim has been freed from the chains that kept him working. He will enjoy his retirement with golf as an activity for him to do. Always fun to get together with family. It is challenging to be roasted by your mother and then given some ribbing from your sister. Tim is a good sport as he also enjoys roasting others.

Traveling North

We enjoyed our time visiting Ryan and Melissa as we toured the North Carolina State Arboretum. The flowers were certainly beautiful. We walked through the gardens spending the day taking in the sights. Our time together is always special.

Spring fun with friends

Before heading north to Iowa for the summer, we were able to get together with our LBC (Little British Car) club for a sunset along the Gulf Coast. Fun to get together with friends. One evening meal was with neighbors, Randy and Diane, who treated us to garbage can chicken. It was delicious! Interesting way to grill chicken. Friends, Ron and Corrine, stopped to visit with their new coach. We enjoyed visiting with them. Soon time to head north for the summer.
