Visits on the way home

We had a very nice drive home to Iowa taking several more days than usual so Jo could rest as we traveled. Stopped to see Ryan and Trish. The flowers were in full bloom in North Carolina with terrific views along the Interstate. Pilot Mountain is always a majestic sight. Ashley, Danny, and Sabrina greeted us in Indiana. Sabrina enjoyed her new golf set. She sure knows her colors and knows which one is hers. Lots of fun.

Renewal

After some down time due to a car accident while we were Florida, Jo and I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Jo is recovering from her surgeries. We had a total of 24 days in the hospitals and now improving as we are back in Iowa. Before we left Florida we replaced our orange trees with rose bushes. The past couple years with cold temps have not been good for the orange trees. Tim and Marilyn were with us as we removed the trees and planted the rose bushes. We will enjoy these as they bloom year round and will tolerate cold temps.
