We took a day to go sailing in the Gulf. The day started off with beautiful blue skies in the canal leaving for Gulf waters. The water temperature was cool and the air temperature was warm, creating a low ceiling with heavy fog. Sailing was limited to going out in the channel and waiting to see if the fog would lift. We had lunch while waiting. Listening to the weather radio, we decided to return to the cottage. There will always be another great day for sailing as this is the land of an "Endless Summer".
