Fayette Watermelon Days - 2012
The community of Fayette holds their annual Watermelon Days each fall and it is an enjoyable event with some terrific talent during the Watermelon Idol Show. We take part in the tractor ride and the scenery is wonderful traveling at 10 miles per hour through the backroads, crisscrossing the streams and bridges, and seeing the farm places where friends and neighbors live. The group gathers for a buffet dinner where conversation is shared and then off down the road.

This technique is quite commonly used, but it must be carefully used or the writer defeats his whole purpose of using one of these patterns, to get the reader's interest. In this pattern, the writer simply states straight out what the topic of his paper is going to be about.
