Welcome to Twelve Oaks Field
Everyone gathered for another fun event at the 5th Annual George Read Memorial Fly-in at Twelve Oaks Field. Chuck and Judy are wonderful hosts. We had several friends attend with us this year to share all the planes, great conversation, and delicious food. The home owners at Twelve Oaks Field put on a classy fly-in and share their air park with us. I enjoy taking photos of the people, planes and activities. We look forward to attending next year.

More Flywheeler Activities
There are many activities going on during the Flywheelers show. There are personal displays of tractors, vendors selling parts of all kinds and colors, vendors with everything you need for that restoration project, the tractor pull with garden tractors and pullers, and great food and homemade ice cream. Next year they will be featuring IH and Farmall tractors. We look forward to attending that show as we like the red ones.

Flywheelers Parade
The parades at Flywheelers had many different vehicles and tractors. We found a comfortable seat to enjoy them all. This event not only has the parades and tractors on display, it also has many vendors and a large flea market area. You can spend a couple days walking through the vendors and not see it all. We had success finding some original manuals for tractors at home. Always a great find to get a good conditioned original manual to keep with the tractor. Many rare and unusual tractors were in the parade this year.

South East Area Flywheelers
This year the Ford Tractor was featured at the South East Area Flywheelers at Ft. Meade, FL. We spent the day looking at the tractors on display. The parade was made up of mostly Fords, however, there were other tractors as well. We also walked through the vendors looking for some tractor parts, manuals, and flags. It was a beautiful day for this event and a nice display of Fords.

Patio Party
As we gathered on the patio for some fun and great kabobs we had friends join us in the trees. What a sight to see the red cardinal. The food was great and the fellowship was terrific. We enjoyed having Bob and Shirley and Larry and Pat join us in Florida for the winter. We had some fun times together at Farmer John's for breakfast and playing Dirty Uno. You have to watch the rules as they may change in an instant. What a fun new card game for us to enjoy. Safe travels to our Iowa friends. See you soon.
