We ventured off to the Florida
Flywheelers Antique Engine Club Show located near Ft. Mead, FL. The park is located on 240 acres and includes a tractor pull track, club and member buildings which house displays, collections and many large engines, and a membership which is over 1,500. There are 3 shows per year at the park. The main goal of the club is to preserve a part of our heritage for all generations and historians to enjoy. There are parades, engine demonstrations, entertainment, wood carving, vendor and flea market area, and of course some great food. We spent two days at the park looking for tractor parts, tractor manuals and other items of interest to us. We will share photos of "Things" at the show. Photos of many different makes and models of tractors from the past. The parade of antique cars and trucks that will bring back memories.

The excitement of the tractor pull with stock and soupped up lawn tractors, many stock antique tractors and a few powerful tractors specifically for pulling. We will close with a few machines used for spreading some sunshine in our day and maybe to be used at a future date. Oh, by the way, the gentleman at the end of this section did a terrific job of keeping the restroom facilities in great order, or was that odor?
