Fun, Fourth, and Fair

Summer means driving our MGB down to the river edge and having lunch together. What a beautiful drive and the river's edge is so scenic. The 4th of July was filled with family, friends, fun and a potato shooter. Never thought a potato could fly so far. Kevin and June out did themselves this time. We enjoyed celebrating the birthday of our country with everyone at the farm. Another tractor ride was held by KGLO and we saw some terrific looking tractors of all makes and models. Marilyn was looking for that specific tractor as we wandered amongst the many rows of so many tractors. The local county fair was filled with machinery, livestock, and kids. Many memories returned looking at the round sale barn filled with chickens, rabbits, turkeys and geese. The barns were full and the quality of the show animals was top notch. We especially liked the kids and calves event. These youth are the future of agriculture in our area. One calf for each kid. What fun.
