Cochrane, Alberta, Canada on July 1 celebrated the birthday of Canada. There was a flag raising and other activities in the town centre.
Cochrane is known for their ice cream, saw mill and hang gliding. The hill to the north of the town centre is used frequently for hang gliding. The town has 15 kilometers of natural habitat pathways for people to enjoy. Many town folks and visitors exercise their dogs on these paths with off leash areas designated for this use. The Bow
RiversEdge Campground is located along the Bow River. The location is very nice with access to the walking paths, river viewing and day trips in the Calgary,
Banff and Jasper area. Temperatures have been around 22 degrees
Celsius during the day and around 8 degrees at night.
