We enjoyed our Spring Break at South Padre Island. Crossing the Queen Isabella Memorial Bridge, takes you to the Island and a popular beach area for people to take a break from the cold weather of the north. Our day was warm with winds blowing the sand across the highway. It looks like snow drifting along the highway and being loaded into the trucks, however, it is sand and it is being recycled back to the beach area. Some cactus are starting to show blooms as spring is arriving with the warm temperatures.
