This is one of the four last states we needed to travel through. The eastern part of the state of Washington is desert like and very dry. As we came into the state, the crop of wheat, barley, etc. began to be more prevalent. Was surprised at the dry conditions, however, the scenery was still beautiful. The hillsides have a purple hue when these flowers are in bloom.
