We took a day trip while in the Hood River and Dalles area of northern Oregon to tour the Columbia River Gorge to Portland, Oregon. We started the day going across the river into Washington to see Mt Saint Helens and Mt Adams. The clouds kept us from seeing the peak of Mt Adams, which is the tallest of the three mountains in this area. We saw several water falls along the gorge, the one pictured is Multnomah Falls, 620 foot water falls. This area was recommended to us by a co-worker at Kraft as she was from this area. What a awesome sight and if you are in this area, we also would recommend it.

We sure enjoyed the pics from Idaho, Washington and Oregon. Is the pic at the top (the snow covered with blue sky) MT. Hood or Mt. St. Helens?
The pics are great ... someone has a great eye!
now that is what retiring is all about...seeing the things you never got to see when you were working. It is so beautiful out there!!!!
I,m thinking the fellows landing the fish would probably like that photo also. The mountain pictures are great.SAK
