Pacific Ocean Coast

We arrived at the Pacific coast on June 13. Clouds persisted throughout the day. Found some flowers that were set with pines. Are staying at Waldport, OR a small coastal town, with many activities and a great location to home base to do day trips from. Have stopped at Seal Rock state park to do some agate hunting. This is almost like hunting mushrooms in Iowa. You can see the bridge at Newport crossing the Yaquina Bay which is north of our base location. Found another unusual road sign stating we were leaving a Tsunami area. In talking with the ranger today, he said they are overdue for a Tsunami.

These are beautiful pictures. Thanks again for sharing. We are so glad that the weather is cooperating as it can be very fog bound along the west coast in June.

Nice talking with you the other night. Keep up the good times:-)
