On our trip to Niagara Falls we took a scenic drive along Lake Ontario to Niagara-on-the-Lake. This is a small village with shops, parks, estates, wineries and many beautiful stopping places. The wineries along the drive offer tours and wine tastings with views of the grape fields. The flowers are in full bloom as summer is coming to a close. As we followed the Niagara River toward the Falls you can take boat rides through the rapids and to the whirlpools. Then there is the
Aero lift over the whirlpools down stream from the Falls as the river bends.
