St. Lawrence River Coast

Traveling along the St. Lawrence River, we saw many beautiful dairy farms. This particular farm caught our eye and we stopped and visited with the farmer. He of course only spoke French, however, we were able to understand that they milk 160 Holstein cows and farm many acres. He showed us his farm equipment building containing silage wagons, chopper and tractors. He was very proud of the farm and its setting. The coast is very rough with rocks and boulders on the shore, including some agates. We walked a cul-da-sac and were able to get pictures of the coast and flowers along the road. While in Rimouski, Quebec we observed the full lunar eclipse at 0530 in the morning.

Been a while since I have been on ... the chains have been pretty tight with the start of school.

Great pics! You are seeing some fantastic areas, buildings and lifestyles. Sounds as if you are still having a great time. Loved the pics of the falls. Made me homesick ...

Continued safe travels ... Fred
